Why Donate To Frederick American Little League

Frederick American Little League is in the middle of making some major changes in our program. After years of flooding in Baker Park we have to move to a new location. We lost 2 fields as a result of that very difficult decision. We are working with the City of Frederick to find a new home and we are working with the Braddock Heights community to refurbish their baseball field. The cost for these kinds of projects are high and we won't be able to do it alone.

If you would like to make any donation, of any amount, we would greatly appreciate the generosity. All funds raised for our program go directly to the kids. No one is paid and we are 100% volunteer.

Outfield Fence At Braddock Heights

Outfield Replacement

The Braddock Heights outfield is extremely uneven due to years of erosion and weed infestation.
The playing surface is extremely uneven, doesn’t drain well, and the play can be dangerous for kids.
We want to level and convert the outfield to match the new infield. This will take a great deal of effort but we are up for the challenge.

Estimated cost for this project is $25,000 - $30,000

Outfield Fence

Braddock Heights Field is being refurbished. The infield has completely new with turf, similar to Harry Grove Stadium.
The outfield fence is to be replaced by a new wooden fence. The fence distance is short so to compensate for that we are making a mini monster in left field.

Estimated cost for this project is $6,000 - $8,000

Batting Cage

The existing batting cage at Braddock Heights is old and needs a face lift.
The netting is full of holes and the support poles, while sturdy, are very dangerous to kids and adults as the balls ricochet of the poles after being hit.

Estimated cost for this project is: Net Only: $1,500 - $2,000 Complete Cage: $5,000 - $7,000
